Our 2290 seems to be sucking air in the hyd. system. It is most noticable when the tractor is first started up. The hyd. lines around the pump will viberate with the noise. Because of this some lines will loosen up and leak. The problem does not affect the performance of the tractor and it's been that way for 4-5 years now.
Hyd, outlets have good pressure and suction line to pump has about 22psi but it will drop 2-3psi when the noise happens.
Anyone have any Idea why this is happening?
Thanks for any help, Case 400

Sounds like the strip seals around the charge pump could be leaking just enough to let it loose some of it's prime when it is shut down. And once it primes up everything is fine.If it were the suction screen it would work at start up and then loose hyd's, because that screen usually lets the trash fall off the under side of it when you shut it down and as you start moving and splashing the oil around it picks that trash back up. Does the 3pt hitch work while it's vibrating?

After instaling Hi Preformance hyd filters offered by Case,$$$ The suction screen would be the next thing I would check.

have you checked the pressure relief at the filters. Sometimes this can help, sounds like the valve is weak. JMHO.
