Does anyone know where I might lay my hands on sleeves and bearings for this engine? The crank needs to be turned in this engine. Thanks in advance

hi. i don't know where to get the sleeves, but i do know that the 500B and 600B have a little different engine than others. that engine is 164 cu. in. and is a dry sleeve. i can't tell you offhand what the bore is. that link to the 159 engine is wrong. the 159 didn't come out till the 530,it wasn't used in all of those tractors they say it was. it was a 530 engine and it was wet sleeve. good luck. charley.

Charley,if you had read the post about the wet sleeve replacement engine for the 350/500B/600B tractors you would see that it was not available until the 530s were on the market. If you would like to see one of these engines, you are welcome to come to my place and take a look at one. martin

If it has the 159 cid gas engine you may be able to buy a kit at this link.

At the local dealer they list a price as well as a "no longer available" line.

The last I knew, parts were still available. Each item had to be ordered separately. Sleeve, Piston, Pin, Rings. Was expensive. If your Pistons are OK, a machine shop can punch aftermarket sleeves in & size them. Good luck
