Hi all -

I got an 1194 Case with a leaky remote valve. I got the kit to refurb it, but I'm not quite sure how to remove the valve. It's looks like it's sandwiched between a plate on the top where the high pressure feed goes in and the top of the case. There are what appear to be several recessed holes in that plate, with what looks like the remains of bolt heads in them? With lots of scaly rust there. They're so rusty I can't tell if these really bolts that go all the way through to the tranny/diff case? I could try to burn those bolt heads off with a torch if they really are bolts, but I'm not sure that's the way this comes apart? Am I on the right track? Any hints?

TIA,

- jf

The valve is held down by the five bolts on the top of the assembly. The sixth bolt at the right rear corner holds the base adapter to the axle housing.

Ok, that's what I suspected. but the bolts heads are rusted off to the point of being unrecognizable, most likey from water collecting in the recesses. Thanks for the info...
