my dad has a Superior loader on the front of his vac, It is really to much loader for the tractor, but it has been on there for 20 years plus with no problems. He has put an auxillary hydraulic pump on the front that runs on the shaft for the hand crank, basically to speed up the cycle time of the bucket and the loader. As my father has gotten a little older and a lot wiser we are in the process of putting a wide front and power steering on it. Good luck

I have one on a VAC and it does ok. It is the trip bucket type and does great at lifting things, but is limited as to how well it is able to pick up a load of dirt. Another thing to watch for with putting a bucket on your tractor is keeping an eye on the bell housing bolts and mounts. Mine seperated and took out the clutch with it.

Case made a trip bucket loader that would fit VAC's & SC's. We have one in the trees that I've always been going to put on my '54 SC, but haven't gotten around to it yet. It has "one-way" cylinders on it that look to be in good condition. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

I have installed an AC W9 (36") trip bucket loader on my NF VAC. Works ok for what little it's gotta do around my small lot. The pully piston pump is very slow (but powerful)and limited on oil capacity. You WILL need tires loaded and/or wheel weights. Be sure your ft tires, bearings, spindle etc are up to snuff. Wear your Armstrong shirt and your common sense cap and you can still get some work out of the ole' iron. Good luck with your project.

I have a wide front end and would be interested in front end loader capability.
