Hey guys! There's one last item I need help with. The linkage for the dual fuel manifold. Needless to say when I got the tractor those parts were long gone.

So when you're sitting on the tractor the crank on your right goes to the radiator shutters and the crank on the left controls the shutter flap inside the intake manifold for heating. Anybody got a picture of what that linkage looks like? Or better yet some spare parts they'd part with??

Also THANKS for all the support and kind words on the DC. It means that much more when it comes from guys who know Cases. Some of my friends here think I'm a little nuts for going so crazy over a tractor- (which I'm glad to say, is peobably true!)

Thanks,
Campbell

I hadn't noticed until looking at your very nice DC that the '41's did not have the big oil pan with the hand hole covers. What is special about this tractor that the big pan was not used. Have DC Tom check on this! It should make an interesting story.

I can"t help you with the linkage, but I have remade the double ended brass screw that would adjust it and could remake the anchor block that the brass screw threads into.

Let me know if I can be of assistance.

I need the same parts for my 1940 DH as well... so if you find a source, please post it here so I might be able to get a set too.

Thanks!

Don't worry...

If they think you're crazy now, wait until you drag home the 12-20 Crossmotor, half of the pieces in bushel baskets and five gallon buckets, and they get a look at that gleem in your eye...

They will definately try to have you committed then.
