Were all DO's stamped as so by the serial number? Or were DO's an option packge for the D?

Thanks Tom, Thats kind of what I thought. I know as far as orchard tractors go the DO isn't that rare, but it's a gap I have in the Case lineup and figured it was time to pick one up. Maybe if I get another hood, I can call it both a D and a DO and convince my wife I got a 2 for 1 deal :-)

Tom; I was under the impression that the DO's had a slower low gear. Is that true? DK

I brought the DO home today (ebay special). It does have DO stamped into the serial number tag and full fenders with the low profile hood. It has the brackes for the cowl, so I might have to fabricate something if I ever decide to restore it. It"s a 1949 and I was able to get it running within about two hours of bringing it home. I can"t wait to hook it to a disc and see what it will do.
