Because Im in new territory here let me clarify something. Case 1030CK. When we are talking about a sticking relief valve causing no lifting power we are talking about what the parts book calls the "pilot relief valve" on page 131B of parts book D964. Correct? I cannot find any other valve refered to as a relief valve. Someone said "clean and polish the relief valve. Do you mean polish the piston assembly or a ball? Sounds stupid but the older I get the more I like to make sure what Im talking about. Thanks, Dell

Yes the pilot relief valve is what your looking for. There is a very thin o'ring in there that will blow. There is no ball to stick. I have never found one stuck. If the o'ring is good then need to replace the valve assy. Will the 3 pt hitch pick up a load. If it will then you check presure at all 4 hoses to see if one is low. Let me know. Stan
