I have a case 530ck that floods out and spits gas from the carburetor whenever i try to start it. Rebuilt the carburetor and then put a new one but problem still exists. I have adjusted the float in all positions and the problem still has not improved. . I put new plugs, points, dist. cap and rotor cap and had no change. Any help would be appreciated.

Not familiar with these models, but FWIW: float in carb supposed to rise as gas comes in, and in rising has connection with needle valve(usually located where gas comes into carb), pushing needle valve into seat, closing off gas flow. If gas flow not closed off, should be one of: float not rising enough;float connection to needle valve not pushing needle valve shut; needle valve or seat dirty/worn;fuel pump internal valves bad (when needle valve closed the mechanical fuel pump is still pumping, but the gas is recirculated internally or back to tank) if fuel pump internal valve is stopped up, pump may have enough pressure to force needle valve open, pushing excess gas into carb. Try running engine with cap off gas tank to see if tank pressure the problem; if not,can you disconnect fuel line to pump, jerry-rig safe gravity feed to carb? That would show if problem in fuel pump. Good luck.

Could your gas cap vent be plugged and warm temperatures causing a pressure build up in the tank? I don't know if it's a possibility or not. Just a thought.
