Someone told me that Case made a few of the big 411 case tractors with extra long axels where duel rear wheels could be mounted. Anyone ever see one or know of a set of extra long axels that could be bought reasonably ?

About two years ago I was looking through the salvage yard in Cokato MN. I came across a 800, which seemed to have longer axels. It had some sort of hub bolted to the end that looked like a spot to bolt on duals. I have no idea if it's still around, I had heard through the grapevine that they were trying to move away from older equipment. I'll be going through Cokato in the next few days and I can stop in and check. If it's still there I''ll ask about a price.

My grandpa bought a 411 with the "Dual Axles" on it. He sold it to an uncle on my mom's side of the family in about 1970 and he still has it. I went to rob a part off of it recently and found that he had torched the axles off several years ago. I almost cried when I noticed the axles. It's the only one I had ever seen.
