I"ve got a problem with my 930 Case - weak hydraulics and the hydraulic 3-point will only raise the arms, not any implements. I have been told that there is a screen in the rear end that could be plugged and could be accessed by removing the PTO shaft. Can anyone confirm that?

The raising poppet in the hitch valve will get sticky or dirty and will do what you say. The hitch will raise the arms but will not raise a load. There is a plate on the side of the valve. Remove this plate. There will be a load check ball and spring a lowering poppet and a raising poppet. Take these out clean them. The raising poppet has a screw inside remove this screw to get it clean inside. Install screw till it bottoms then back out 3/4 turn. Put it all back together and it should work fine. Stan

930 COMFORT KING HAS A THROUGH WAY FILTER ON OUTSIDEOF TRANSMISSION ON LEFT SIDE UNDER PLATFORM .You need to check relief pressure . Should be 1700-1900 psi . If ok you may have leaking internal piston. Nead a gage to check pressure an if low you can shim releaf valve.Need a(i&T) manual at least as it is not good practice to guess on hydraulicks

Massey Ferguson 35 (and up) Tractor Assembly Notes - by Jack Wetmore. These assembly notes are for Massey Ferguson tractors with a two stage clutch and 6 speed, 8 speed and mutli-power transmissions. I see a lot of discussion forum messages regarding damaged clutches from improper assembly. The objective is to have the engine and transmission slide together safely and easily until the gap between the two halves is less than 1/4", BEFORE tightening any of the bolts holding the two together. Using bolts to draw the two halves together will damage the PTO
