Maybe would weigh that much if it were a wheatland diesel, but out the box factory fob the wheatland weighed 8965 with 15.5*38's
The row crop weighed 8195 with tricyle front and 3pt and 15.5*38 in diesel. The 1030 weighed 9600 lbs with 15.5*38's, but had those weights as std. equip. and an adj. front end.

Thanks. We have a couple 930's. The other day I pressure washed an Allis XT190 series 3. I understand it weighs 7950#, 94hp. Quite a difference. Much as I have always liked Allis(we had a WC as a kid), I don't see how they got by making them so light. Glenn F.

They didn't. They broke crankshafts, trans. parts, and axels quite regular. Had 2 neighbors that had them. They ran about 120 hp, and spent that many hours in the shop every year. And they still did not have a live PTO! DK

Hate to disagree with you on an AC in a case board, but xt's did not break axles after the last updates. Only the first 190's & 190 xt's broke axles and did other damage in the trans. & final drives. It cost allis a ton of money, but they updated them back to the orginal tractors.
There was no comparison in a 930 to a xt in diesel as far as Horsepower, even when they kept it at factory spec's (and most were not run at factory spec's)

I think the 930 is approx. 84hp and the 1030 is 102. Just interesting, the weight to horsepower ratio. Glenn
