The dampener pully worked loose on the crank. The half moon key way is hurt and the pully is hurt. The right way to fix this would be to put a diffrent crank and pully in. I'am open for other suggestions. I hope there are some. Thanks in advance. Ralph

A mach shop can put a keyway on opposite side if O.D. of crank is not worn down. After that, just do your timing on #6 instead of #1. A shop in Ceder Rapids Ia. (Horn Automotive) said they could build up\ weld cranks with this problem.

With the key way on the opposite side of the pulley you could not use the existing timing marks because both cylinders (one and six) would be at the bottom of the stroke instead of at the top.
