I answered your post on the other board also. I have a very good wide front with the good 6-hole hubs on it. Your narrow plus $250.00 gets it. Does your narrow have the 6-hole hubs or the 4 point "star" type? I'll trade either way but prefer the 6-hole.

Thank you for answering my post. the hubs on the front are the 4 star. but if you want i can keep the 4 star hubs and you can keep your 6 bolt. but i would like all the bracketry for the wide fronnt ad ill give you all you need to make yours a narrow front. (so if it would be a little cheaper if i just keep my hubs and tires if you like.) I am from brookville IN so let me know when you get a chance

Just to make sure, we are talking about the big 411 and not the smaller one known as the 411b, right? About the hub swapping, do you know if the hubs will interchange on the spindles? If so, I'd like to keep the 6-bolt hubs but for the same price. I'm not dead set on having to keep the 6-bolt. It's just a preference.

i know on the tag that it says the tractor is a a 411 so it is the big one as in 50hp. i don't really know about the hubs thought ive never got around to really work one so i wouldn't know. but i know that this tractor is a 1955 case 400 so the 400b's were built in 58. so we can try to switch them out when we meet to make sure they work. if not ill have to buy your hubs. so tell me where your located and ill get back to you. thank you again.

You've got the big 400. We can each pull a hub off and take the diameter and length measurements of the spindle to compare. Then we'll know if they'll swap. I'm located in Bradford, Arkansas - about 70 miles Northeast of Little Rock. I looked at that frontend again very carefully yesterday and there are no breaks or welds on it anywhere. The front tie rod has one weld on it, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find one that didn't. I still can't figure out why Case made front ends with tie rods sticking out front. They had to know people were going to run into things and break those. Anyway, let me know when you'd like to get together.

dear Lamont i would loke to have the widefront you have but you are too far away to ship or drive. we are really busy with stuff and cant afford to go that far. but it would be better if you were making a trip up around indiana. so if you have an idea let me know.
