Just replaced hyd. valve, spool valve was sticking. Reset everything according to factory manual.Bled system according to manual except for the connector plate which the 780 apparently does not have. Where this plate is on a 880/990 this tractor has an aux. valve. Does this valve need to be bled also? Now when lifting, with or without load, lift jumps or pulsates. One other problem, it will switch to TCU & Height but will not switch to Depth ! Is these two problems related ? Everything else seems ok. please tell me what is wrong. did I make a mistake or what ?

Sounds like oil problem. Are you sure the filter is clean, pump could be starving of oil. Does your tractor have the vacuum switch under the pto housing, I have had these suck air through them. Put switch into TCU, pull lever hard back, is this the same? Tcu works directly on the spool unlike Height/Depth. Remove by-pass valve, turn engine over on starter to flush port, clean restrictor washer [alloy] inside valve.

Have flushed by-pass valve. Why can't I get the switch into TCU ? It does have the switch under the differential between the drawbar, is this it ? Don't see any wires or hoses attached to it though. Can the switch suck air & not lose any fluid from it. Lift holds, but now is starting to jump while sitting still, as well as when raising. Acts like it very slowly looses height & then raises slightly.

Does the hitch hold a load when the tractor is shut off?
