I have the cast iron part that enables a vertical exhaust off a 1957 311 round nose. It was repaired over 15 years ago. Looks like braze. Neatly done, I did not realize it was repaired until I examined it rather closely, looks strong and has held up for over 15 years. We just converted the tractor to a down and horizontal exhaust. I am thinking about putting the part on ebay this weekend?? Interest? What is this part worth?

I have 2 300 round nose tractors and both had the exhaust running under the tractor. I like the muffler on top but couldn't find the exhaust elbows. I gave up and just made them. They work just as well as the factory type and don't look all that bad either. Didn't cost me anything except a few welding rods.

Larry ,

I think I know a fellow with some elbows, if he doesn't have one , do you at least have some pieces . If you don't I can probably find some cast iron pipe and I have some cast plate to make one .

This is on the farm backhoe. I was just going to have a piece of pipe bent but that takes to much room & won't clear the loader. I have the old one that broke. I brazed it but it broke again just past the repair. Its just to far gone to fix. I thought I heard someone had repo's avabile. If I have to I will take a little bigger pipe & cut it & weld it back in a 90. I will leave my email open it anyone finds one Thank you Larry

George,I am also in need of an elbow for my 300. If I could get the information it would be grealy apperciated. Also what is your thought on an aftermarket final drive pinion for a 310C Case crawler, one that is going to be worked. Thanks Martin

They're hard to find, if not impossible. There are some but will not be right for the side panels if you want to get them, or have them. You could go to a muffler shop and have an elbow bent using the proper offset and size pipe.

Good luck, Roger
