How much space

Is the space between the eagle hitch arms the same distance on early 300 and 400 tractors (not the B series)?
Also, is the space the same on a 630 with cat.1 eagle hitch the same as a 630 with cat. 2 eagle hitch?

The reason I asked the second question was because I had a busted jaw, (the part that slides) on my 630 eagle hitch. I aquired another from a parts 630 tractor and after I put it in, I noticed the jaw was much bigger than the original and so I presumed it was for a cat. two hitch, but I wasn't sure Case offered cat two on an eagle hitch 630. If not, should I presume the parts tractor had parts off an 800 or early 830?

The only E-H that was Cat 2 was the 830. We stock E-H parts.

hi. there was no cat. 2 eagle hitch. all eagle hitches were the same size and the same spacing. eagle hitch draft pins are slightly larger diamenter than cat.1 3pt. i found this out when i went to put a cat. 1 to cat. 2 adopter bushing on my eagle hitch plow,it didn't fit on the draft pin. and all 3pt equipment does not fit eagle hitch, some of the hitch spacing is to wide. cat.1 draft pins will fit but cat2 is to big. hope this helps. charley.

Hi John. Your welcome very much. That mail made good time,it didn't leave town till 5:00 P.M. Wednesday and then goes to Des Moines. Thanks I learned some more,I didn't know about the 830 CAT 2 hitch. They must have decided the 830 was getting enough power it needed bigger pins. All the latches must interchange. I know one thing that dosn't swap and that is the center links. the 300 is different the way it mounts on the tractor,it has to have a different tractor end. Charley.

Hey Charlie: Some time back, a customer gave me the Part # for the Cat 2 Latches. Now, I can't find it. The Parts Book doesn't list them. ?????

Not on any 830 that I ever had. They were all exactly the same as the DC. DK
