I have an old 580ck that badly needs new tires. The manual on this model specifies 750/16 tires. The rims are only 5 1/2" x 16", and are 6 lug. Am I stuck with these small skinny tires, or is there a way to upgrade to something like the newer 11L/16's?

Phil, I bought used army tires from a jeep type vehicle and they work ok so far. They are heavy enough ply and I like the tread. The price was okay. Joe Karr

I'm looking at new tires as well, but have 950/16 truck tires on the fronts. You have to watch the clearance and probably won't get anything much bigger on. Good luck!
