I have a 1962 930 Diesel 8 speed and the remote hyraulics will not work. The remote cylinder on the disc works fine (checked with another tractor) The three point works fine. The outer control lever for the remote falls forward when slightly touched or on its own from a bump and makes a nasty noise in the system. The previous owner gave me a operator's manual for a 730- 830 but I don't believe that answers my problems. (anyone have a 930 Diesel nmanual to swap?) Also, I'm not sure where the hyraulic filter is located. All help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron

8 speed 930's came out in 1965. If your 730-830 book is for comfort king tractor all of the information is the same. The engines are the big differences. Make sure you have hoses hooked correct like was said above. Follow hoses up to valve the bottom two are a pair and the top two are a pair. Stan

Before you start tearing it down make sure you have it hooked up corect. Plug hoses in one on the right and one on the left. Have seen a lot of folks try to hook them up with both hoses on one side. Nest check and make sure the quick couplers are pushing in the check on the female couplers.

Filter is under platform on left side -it is a throw away filter. As for other problem you nan remove plate held on by 4 bolts on back of control -it is where controls go in .Check if leavers seem to work as they should. If you need to go farther you need a Case or It shop manual. Sounds like spring or ballis broken or missing. Leaver should not wall freely. Others on forum can help you.
