Why is the vac-14 more rare than just a vac? I need a hood and the nose cone in front of the hood. Is the hood on the 14 the same as the others like the vac, vao, vai? Are they all interchangeable or not? I have a plow for this tractor but it is all in pieces. Do you know where I could get a picture of it so I can see what it is supposed to look like? Thanks in advance.

I have a '53 VAS. The sheetmetal on it is the same as on the VAC-14. I have a scanned picture of it and can send it to you if you like.

Subtle changes were made to the tin work after 1950. The tool box door switched sides, the steering column ran through the dash rather than under it, the hood hinges were exposed rather than hidden behind the side panels, and the heavy cast-iron bar/hood lock was changed to a tear-drop shaped metal knob on the front of the hood.
