need to know the recommended oil and gallons required for a 1030 CK. this tractor had been severly neglegted in this regard now that it is working properly I would like to keep it this way

John is right on the engine oil,however it holds 15 quarts w/filter. Brian

Hey Pete: 15W40 for the Engine. I'm guessin around 20 Qts. For the Tranny, the book will say TCH which is a 10W20 Trans.-Hyd. Fluid. I like to mix that thin oil with 85W140 Gear oil to add some body to it. Can't do that with a Power Shift Tranny, but no problem with a Comfort King. I add about 1 Qt of 85W140 to 3 Qts of the Fluid. If we lived in a warmer climate, I'd add more. It holds about 17 Gallons.
