I have three questions... Any of you fellas out there ever throw a tach on a 400? Have you ever seen a 400 with a cab? And on my dash I have my temp, oil pressure, and my amp gauges, my question is, there is another spot on my dash for another gauge. What gauge went in there? As always any help is appreciated.

To add a tach to a diesel 400 a tach drive and tach from any 30, 70, series diesel will work. hope this helps JIM

The other gauge hole is for fuel quantity... Gene

If your 400 is Gas, an aftermarket Tach hooked to the Dist. will work. Don't know how to run a Tach on a Diesel. If yours is a Diesel, it had a Diesel Fuel Pressure Guage, & a Diesel Fuel Vacuum Guage.
