I'm looking at a 580 CK tractor with backhoe & loader. Diesel eng., needs tires, some repairs on both hoe & loader. It's a shutle shift with converter. No cab Any guesses as to what they are worth? What problems should I watch for? Thank you LEH

If the engine runs well and starts in the cold, hydraulics can lift the machine off the ground (10,000 machine), shuttle works well in all gears(doesnt slip in 3rd or 4th). hoses and seals are not leaking, power steering works good, in my opinion 4-6K would be a fair price. The 188 diesel is a good little engine and provides about 50hp. The nice thing about the CK is you can remove the backhoe and use just the loader providing you install a 1400 pound weight on the rear. I had owned one of these machines for 6 years and was happy with it. I used it for snow removal and light excavation. Only problem was the hoe makes it a bit light in the front.

Thank You for the reply. I ran a 580B a few years ago and it was a good machine but not mine. The owner is asking $6,500 for this one. I'll check it out as I have not had a Chance to operate it yet. Again, Thanks A Bunch for your info!!! Lewie
