Does anyone know where I can get a Thrust Washer for a "S" series Case (1950), that is installed bewteen the rear face of the Cam Gear and the cylinder block. Or, does anyone know the thickness of the original (Fibre) thrush washer. Did a search on this forum but, did not come up with much help. Thanks to anyone who can assist.

I'm pretty sure the original part number was 05725AB. No dimensions in my parts book, but I bet an original Case dealer could match the number and tell you the dimensions.

Bruce/Paul - Thanks for the info. Tried to make one and it was to thick. When we put the front cover on there was two much pressure on the cam, could hardly turn the engine over. New sleeves, pistons, Mains, Rod bearings, etc., so I want to get this back together in the right way. Lots of money involved. I tried calling Don, but he must be taking a rest. Will call Him Monday. I have access to a machine shop so no problem following what Bruce suggested. It was the thickness that I needed. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Gary, it needs to be .146 thick and have an inside diameter of 1.905. My notes do not have the outside diameter. Use one from a 391 Ford truck, bore the ID, reshape the OD and have somebody put it on a surface grinder to get to the right thickness. The Ford one is a little too thick. You may find one that is closer at your local engine rebuilder shop. A DC washer IS NOT the same.
