I changed oil in my Case 930 LP a week ago. I put in 14 qts. It was gettin late and dark out so I mixed feed, fed cows and checked the stick the next morning, oil was creamy colored and way over full. No water leaks water is right up there where it should be. Can LP somehow seep in the oil? That is why I was wondering if a 377 held less oil. stumped

My 930 LP seeps some coolant into the engine oil if it sets a while I am sure it is leaking past the O rings at the bottom of the sleeves. I drain it off I am getting ready to put drain cocks in the drain plugs on it to make draining it easier. The 377 holds 14 quarts just like the 401. I cant imagine what is going on if it has that much water in it and your coolant is still at the top. I would drain it and look for anti freeze when the oil first comes out.

Chess is right, has to be water or bad oil. LP would evaporate. Maybe try a fresh oil change and see if it happens again?
