I have several case tractors ranging from 200-2470 models and was wondering what I should do to protect these tractors from the elements during the winter months.Tractors are all stored inside. Thanks for any help you can offer.Dave Ahlgren(Minnesota)

Hi Dave,
Just read my own notes on storage! It is recommended to loosen the rad cap & gas cap so you don't dent the gaskets.

Dave,
I also put a preservative in the gas to preserve it. Make sure the tank is completely full to prevent moisture. Pull the battery & charge it also. A fully charged battery always lasts better in our MN winters. They say to block it up & I never do. My LA sat 20 years & the side walls of the rear tires are broken down where they sat.

Well since I don't know if they are gas or diesel this only applys to the gas type. If you don't plan to start them all winter long I'd put a little oil or tranny fluid in each cylinder and of course check the anti freeze. Asl odrain the carbs and turn off and or drain the gas tanks.

Wouldn't hurt to pull a few plugs to get any water out of c cases and Resavouiors(sp) Nice heavy coat of turtle wax would be overkill. LOL W
