I am wanting to switch a good DC crankshaft and its main bearings from one block to another. If I put everything back in the new block the way it came out of the old block, will I have bearing problems? I don't want to line bore the bearings unless I absolutely have to. I'm asking an expert for an educated opinion! Thanks!!

Tom,
I sure hope you are right. My engine man took a complete bottom end out of a parts tractor and reinstalled it into my Dad's old D motor. He said everything fit like a glove. We'll see. Don

Thank you very much. I knew that if it could be done successfully you would know. The story on the '41 SC comeing up in the next HERITAGE EAGLE is mine, that is if Mr. Hoffman decides to go ahead with it. I am coming to Indiana next week end, to Odon. Where are you from there? Went plowing with a tractor club three weeks ago and again last Saturday and Sunday with my '51 DC. First time I worked it on a heavy load for any length of time. Pulled 3-14's never out of 2nd gear. It performed very well.

Tom, I think he's coming to my place at Odon. We are roughly 90 miles southwest of Indianapolis.
