I have a 1955 case400 row crop with a eagle hitch. My neighbour tells me that in 1955 only 150 of these tractors were made. Is there any truth to this? thks Dan

There is some models of the 400 series that there were only a few hundred made.

Your tractor is probably a 411 Gas--5,421 were made (Your serial # tag will tell you which model you have)

There are 15 different tractor models in the 400 series

Dan, If you send me info on the model I can tell you how many were made---in row crops there were 2713 spark ign and 2798 diesels made in 1955

I believe there were over 5000 row crop made in 1955. If you include all models in the 400 series your looking at arond 7000.
