I have a CASE loader to put on 630 STD, but the only HYD on tractor is the line that comes from the pump to the 3 point. Any ideas on how to make this work for the loader with cylinder for the arms and cylinder for bucket operations

Hey Skip: Do you only have the 1 Lever? How about the valve stack under the fuel tank? Is there a disconnected lever under there? Are there Pipe Plugs on what might be Outlet Ports?

John Yes, the only lever I have is the one that operates the 3 PT. I don't see a disconnected lever under fuel tank. There are 2 ports on the valve, one has a tee fitting with line to 3 PT. and the other part of tee is capped off, the other port has a plug in it.

You are describing an eagle hitch on your 630. You do NOT have a true three point with depth control and draft control. The eagle hitch has one lever without the above features. If the loader lift cylinders are one way cylnders, there is a way to make the loader work. You will still need to add ONE valve body to dump the bucket and return it to level. Most bucket cylinders are TWO way cylinders. If the loader lift cylinders are one way cylinders, plumb the loader lift cylinders into the TEE on the eagle hitch valve. You will need install a hydraulic shutoff valve going to the eagle hitch. You don't want the eagle hitch working at the same time you're using the loader.

We had one aux. valve and a slector valve on the line to the egale hich. when we pushed the selector the lever that ran the eagal hitch would raise and lower the loader. This only worked because we had a single acting cyl.

Re: 630 Case without remote valves? in reply to Skip, 11-09-2005 12:54:45
Two remote valves can be put UNDER the plate on the torque tube that supplies hydraulic oil to the three point. A salvage yard should be able to supply you with those two remote valves and their linkage. Make sure they also supply you with the longer bolts. You will need to get the gaskets that go between the valves and plate from a Case dealer. When tightening the bolts, start tightening from the OUTSIDE in and torque to 15 ft. pounds. If you tighten from the inside out, the valve spools will bind. Good luck.
