Where is the proper place for the return line on a M&W turbo. Someone has mine set up to dump in the back valve cover and I'm not really that impressed with it. Seems like alot of oil to be pumping on top of the head and it seems to give it extra blow by since it is so close to the crankcase breather

I added a turbo to my 1030 which is similar to the 930. There is a plug low on the left side which goes into the crankcase. That's where I routed the 5/8 copper return line. I clamped a heat shield around the return line as it passed by the exhaust manifold. There is NOT a large flow of oil going through a turbo for lubrication. Its present location in the valve cover should not be a major concern if the return line enters from the valve cover side. If the return oil is entering from the top near an intake valve stem, some return oil could be drawn down that valve stem. Otherwise, there is plenty of room down the push rod galleries for return oil.
