Do like we did put a 504 cid in a 830 eagle hitch. A 400 would be the same. One bad boy with a 10mm pump and .020 injectors a bigger turbo don't forget bigger lines and a beefed up clutch!!!!! !!!!! !!

How creative did you have to get coupling the engine to the transmission? Were they even close?

Bolted right up. Fuel line and we used the 900 steering. You might have to do a little grinding on the left front block for the steering shaft on a 400.

Too big of a turbo for the 400. Not enough gas flow to spin it fast enough to get much boost. I ran a Corvair turbo on my 700 diesel for a while. Turned about 95 horsepower in the field, but the heads cracked from the excess heat... Gene
