I"ve been living in CA for the last few months and was wondering if anybody knows of any good case tractor salvage yards within a few hours drive of the Modesto area? I am hoping to maybe find some parts for my LA, as I hope to get back to work on it when I get back to WA.

Haven't heard from you in a while. How is the LA project coming? Made any progress? Or better yet, have any pics to share?

Yes, Myers-Ward is a great place to get parts and to look at all kinds of neat machines. Take rte 41 south out of Fresno, main yard and office is on left, turn rt at next cross street, take 2 more rights and it gets you there. You can spend most of a day poking around in there. Take a jug of water and your lunch. They should make a theme park out of it. I got some nice parts for my 530 CK when I was there in '00. Had to leave that nice LA as was too big.

According to KIM this is supposed to be a friendly and helpful place , but when she blocks all other parts places it seems that she only cares about helping herself 1st and the heck with any one else .
