I just bought a 1963 case 530 with the triple range, but the serial tag says model 541. anyone have any info on 541 or how many were made with the triple range Thank's

You got a 159 c.i. gas engine on your very common version of the 530 series. Marketed as 530, ID'd to show type of engine. Diesel is 3. Third digit supposed to give some hint as to configuration of tractor, as row crop, hi crop, utility, standard or ... Was it really adhered to? can't be sure. Maybe someone else can add to that.
