Gayle, I was working for A CASE dealership when the "400" came out bought one, still have it,none I ever saw was caseomatic.The 800 series was the first caseomatic came out in OCT> 1957 58 model. Dale In Tx.

The one i have is a 411 B paid 300 for it cause the guy thought the clucth was no good. it grinds a little putting it in gear but other than that it runs like a top .

gayle you stold that 411. ive got a 411b casomatic. my dad bought in i beleive 63 its a 59 has a new motor in it and i got it for sale or trade for ? asking 3500.00 witch i know is kinda high. the shifting thing took me a long time to find out whats the matter. some start in gear. (danger) just start her (or him) up on idle for about 30 seconds then half throtle till its warmed up.trottle back down shove clutch in,rev motor fast and back down to idle and shift into any gear,(lower the better to start out) it does take some time to warm all that flued up. hope this works for ya gary ps info. found on this super site
