DC Tom, I have several Case tractors, all VC or VAC series, EXCEPT one. I just acquired a SC-4 model. By the serial number 8039746 it appears to be a 1954 model. I have been informed that only 405 or 415 of this model were built. It is distinguished by the different pedestal in the front. When was it built and where was it shipped. Also I have a 1942 VC restored, a family heirloom...all of my brothers and sisters learned to drive this one. We believe this tractor was originally shipped to Clare Michigan after manufacture but no one knows. Serial number is VC 4630380. I understand by your earlier messages that some of the records are missing. Hope these aren't. Thanks for your patience....Dan
