Does anyony out there have a manual for repairing the CASE 41 Magneto that I could borrow or rent???? I see them once in a great while on e-bay, but I never win. I want to be able to repair my own mag and would like to see how it's done right from CASE. Can anyone help? e-mail is open. Thanks, Bruce

The model 41 mags are the easiest to fix, that must be the reason they sell so high. Coils are availiable at OReily's and are held in with two wedges. Pull the wedges remove the old coil, slip in the new one, replace the wedges and you are good to go. Do the house cleaning on the back end and allign the small gear with the dot on it between the two shaved teeth on the BACK side of the big fiber gear. Use an IH116 condenser. It has the threaded end with a nut. They work in Maytag engines too. These are availiable through Champion Auto. They are $9.00 each. I have a manual and could send instructions if you wish. Point gap .012 to .016. The fiber gear may just pull right out or may be held in place with a small screw that rides in a gruve on the big gear shaft. If it doesn't come out easy, you have to back out the screw wntil it does come out. I sandpaper the points with 320 grit sandpaper to make them shinny. A very little sanding does the job. No new points are availiable!!
