I HAVE A 69 CASE 730CK DEISEL. THE 3POINT WON'T WORK AT ALL. IT WORKED ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. THE HYDRAULICS STILL WORK. I INHERITED THE TRACTOR AND KNOW LITTLE ABOUT HOW THE 3POINT WORKS.
I APPRECIATE ALL THE HELP I CAN GET.

Hi I just had the same problem with our 1030 and I just finished fixing it today! The vavle under the seat was the main problem, the 3pt was not used in 18+ years and all of the springs, plungers, check balls, and everything else was gummed up. The hydro fluid, I believe was 1/2 water as it come out white! It is pretty easy to fix. I got a service manual, it gives you step by step instructions. Take EVERYTHING apart and clean it. It all does come apart fairly easy and all of the "O" rings are still available. Also when the valve is off take an air hose and shoot air in the port that goes to the lift piston. Just a little bit of air will work the draft arms up and down, do this a few times to loosen the piston up. I did all of this and everything works great! If you have any other questions feal free to contact me. Good luck!!! Brian

Common problem on 30 + 70 series. If remotes work but 3 point doesn"t valve under seat is hung up. valve can be taken apart and cleaned. as i remember it a 1/2" diameter ball will be stuck or sticky.

If the 730 is like the 930 I had the same exact problem and was give some advise for an easy fix. Under the seat is a chrome plunger ( valve ) with a spring attached to it. It was stuck from years of sitting idle. Pushed and pulled on it and got it free -works like a champ! Hope this is the same thing wrong with yours ( bet it is)

Three point not working on 730-1030 Cases. they are normally dirty, and just cleaning does the job. On the other hand you find one that will work a while and then quit. The problem is that case did not finish machining the hole where the 1/2 inch ball goes throuth housing. When you pull out the piston rod that is tapered, the ball should fall through the hole. if niot take a new 1/2 drill bit and turn thriugh hole by hand, caution no tools except hand. This will clean up housing and three point will work.
