I bought a Case 680CK with loader not running - it is said to have a bad crankshaft.

Will the crankshaft from a Case Model 830 tractor with 301 engine fit in the BD engine??

How interchangeable are these two engines?? I have a complete 301 short block out of the 830.

Any information is appreciated - btw, the dealer says the 680CK should have a 336BD, but the tag on this engine clearly state 301BD - maybe this engine was only used in the 680 briefly at the start of the model run??

Thanks,

Sonny

680CK HAS A 267 DEISEL. YOU CAN USE A 730 ENGINE FOR SURE.BECAUSE IT IS A 267 ALSO. THE 301 IS A Q: AS IT WOULD BOLT UP OR NOT. DEPEND'S WITHER THE TRAN'S HOOK UP WILL DO OR NOT.I WOULD TRY IT. AND SEE. BUT AS SRAIGHT BOLT UP. I WOULD TRY IT.
