Hello: I have a problem with my 5230 and after warm up and engine temps are up the only Range that will work is the 2nd range. When you first start up the tractor and until its warmed up all works ok no problems, then after warm up it will kick out if you are in any range other than 2nd. The other shifts will show Transmission Failure when you are in 1st, 3rd, or 4th. Sometimes if I shut the tractor down and restart it will correct it for a while, but not always Any comments are appreciated or if other info. is needed let me know. Thanks Charlie

IF you are talking about your powershift, you have a stuck pressure switch on powershift valve probably no.1 switch. If you are talking about your range trans. you have a stuck range switch, would be first to check.

It is the ranges giving me the problem I believe. I believe the 4 range switches are behind the battery box, does that sound correct and if so what is the best way to check them and why does the 1st, 3rd, and 4th range all go out at the same time. Thanks for the help. Charlie
