At one time, a company made oversize sleeves to fit into a 377 to make it a 401. I saw the sales book. When I called, the sleeves were no longer available. I have a 500 which could use a good overhaul, and those sleeves would have been ideal. Maybe someone knows another source?

standard piston, sleeves and rings are still available from case IH. I do think there is a difference depending on the block number. You may also might check and see what the 930 gas had as it was also a 377. I was also told one has to bore the 377 block for the 401 sleeves.
