Anyone have the correct location of a decal for a 1951 CASE VAC that reads, "IMPORTANT Keep cover tight on gasket to prevent dirt or water from entering motor". Have not seen this decal in the original op. manual, so I turned to you guys for info. Thanks, CK.

THE KEEP COVER TIGHT GOES ON SIDE OF VALVE COVER ABOVE THE DISTRIBUTOR. OR CENTER SIDE VALVE COVER.
AS FOR THE VAC IT GOES 1 1/4 DOWN FROM TOP OF GRILL. AND 1.0 IN FROM THE EDGE OF THE BACK OF GRILL.

Thanks a bunch for the info towards the proper location. It's better to be HISTORICALY CORRECT than POLITICALLY RIGHT. Thanks CK.

The LA have that sticker too. Right center on the valve cover - usually crooked!

I was wondering that myself .... I had that "keep cover tight" in my gasket set from Maple Hunter but the V series is a flathead Continental engine. Guess they threw it in there anyways. But they also included two CASE decals, much smaller than the ones on the side of the hood. These are about 6" long, 1" high and do not have silver shadowing, just plain CASE in black. Never seen them on any tractor I've seen.

When you say "ONE UP" in your post (for one of the small ones I mentioned), what are you referring to?
