FOUND NO OIL IN FLYWHEEL HOUSING AND CAUSED PUMP GEARS TO GO BAD. HOW DOES OIL GET IN THERE? FOUND NO OIL LEVEL PLUGS IN FRONT HOUSING. DIPSTICK FOR SHUTTLE CONVERTER IS IN SECOUND HOUSING BACK AND WOULD HAVE TO BE 4 INCHES TO FULL IN ORDER TO RUN INTO FRONT HOUSING. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. THANK YOU TOM CAN CALL YOU IF YOU LEAVE PHONE NUMBER

Tom, My 530CK has a manual shuttle but I normally fill or add fluid to the Flywheel housing and it migrates to the Clutch Housing. The Dip Stick/oil level is checked with engine running.

The HI/LO Case (transfer tube) has a oil feed from the Converter pressure Regulator.

I believe the Torque Converter & Shuttle Clutch system in your 530CK is much like my 580CK. There is one oil supply & pump for both, the fill plug has a dipstick attached. Oil gets into the forward compartment, where the pump and converter reside, through holes in the casting below the oil level. Are you sure oil was showing full on the dipstick and empty in the forward chamber? I'd more expect that your pump went bad because the screen on the bottom of the pickup tube got plugged with debris. Was the tractor slow, after a cold start, to build enough converter oil pressure to move the tractor? This is a symptom of a restricted screen.

Jim B. Thank's for replying back. The suction tube on the pump picks up oil from the second compartment which has the dipstick in it. There is two holes in the clutch pack housing but they are above the full level on the dipstick by about 3 inches. When we split it there was no oil in the flywheel houisng which caused no lube on the pump gears. Machine was working good shut it off and next time we started it 5 min. later it would not move no torque pressure. Thank's Tom

Apparently your 530CK is different than my 580CK ... although, I asked my local Case Ag dealer (parts guy) if they were different and he thought they were much the same ???
So, I got out my 580CK Parts manual and my Service manual .... and reviewed the system layout. The books clearly show that the Power Shuttle/Torque Converter housing (called the Torque Tube) has three chambers all of which contain a common oil supply. The rearmost contains the Shuttle Clutch and the dipstick is on the oil fill plug screwed into the cover plate, the middle chamber contains the pump and suction tube mounted to the underside of the cover plate with the Shuttle control valve mounted to the top side, the forwardmost contains the Converter itself. I cannot see in the exploded views any intent to oil seal these chambers from each other, so I'd assume the oil could also seek a common level through the bearings. Also, the engine starter is sealed from oil entering from the Torque Converter (flywheel) chamber.
Perhaps this info is not pertinent to your 530CK but I'm quite sure the pump would be located within a chamber that contains oil.
