I have a Case Model 42 with a buldozer in the front and a backhoe in the rear. She turns over, but does not start.

I need to get rid of it, and am wondering what it's worth in it's present state.

I'm in Northern Illinois, about an hour west of Chicago.

Go Illini.

That's a 420 (industrial 430). No idea what its worth. Is it gas or diesel? Shuttle shift? Does it turn over or is it stuck?

it should have shuttle shift,it was used on con- stuction tractors with loaders so you could back up fast.should be a round lever with knob on end sticking up on left side of trany.push clutch and move forward or back, which ever direction you want to goe.no reverse gear in trany.shift lever on right side of trany is daul range, high & low.8 speedes forward and 8 reverse.staight line shifting back & forth.reverse gear was faster than forward.over 20 mph either way.
