C Oil pressure - low on hill

Got my C together and runs pretty good. I started with 2 engines, and made one. One engine was a 1929, the other was a 1934 or 35. The newer engine had the gooseneck on the oil intake, but it had a whole in the screen, so I used the oil intake from the 1929 which is attached directly to the bottom of the oil pump. When I sit the tractor the front end down hill, the oil pressure drops clean off of the guage(slight modification from original), but when it sits level or is going uphill I have close to 60 psi of pressure. Was this a problem that case discovered after 1929 and the reason they went to the goosneck style inlet, or do I have another problem? I added an extra quart hoping to help the situation thinking that maybe when it sat downhill it just ran low on oil back there, but it didn't help.

Also, are you to put oil in the clutch housing, or is the engine oil eventually supposed to make its way over there??? Swear I read that somewhere, but can't find it now that I'm ready to go.

Thanks!

The clutch housing needs to be drained with each oil change and will refill itself from the engine oil, so be prepared to top it off after a short run time.
