 With LOTS of help from you all on this forum, I've made some progress. I now have my '49 SC running great, charging system is working, tracked down the missing headlamps and have them working with new bulbs and new retaining rings, a replacement manifold with the elbow that was broken off of mine, exhaust pipe and rain cap, good starter and new cork gasket, complete re-wiring with original style braided fabric insulated wire, new starter cable and battery cables of the same, new gauges, new switches, new plugs and wires, new cap and rotor, new coil, new engine oil. Found the tool box and a hand crank on ebay. Still need to drain the radiator and flush and fill, need two new front tractor tires, battery tray and hold down, air cleaner, and some other misc. stuff. Then eventually paint and decals.
