Hey Mathias: You mean a shuttle? I never heard of one being offered. I'd bet the farm on it.

i will agree with you on that John.shuttle didn't come out untill 300 and 400 tractors.i know a guy who has a 400 with one.hi John this is boombom.

Thanks for the help. I have seen literature of Case DI's with loaders, I figured maybe one of those tractors may have had a shuttle or reverser. That means that all the operators of the industrial loader tractors were constantly shifting between 2nd and reverse?

Would the shuttle in a 300 or 400 be backward compatable to a D or S?

you had to clutch,stop,shift trany gears.300,400 shuttle was mechanical.clutch,move shift lever forward for forward or pull back for reverse. trany had no reverse gear.reverse was a seperate gear ahead of trany.trany had 4 gears plus 2 speed low&high.each speed was faster in reverse than forward.300 would run over 20mph. forward or reverse.i don't speeds of 400.i heard of a guy who rolled a 300 into ditch while driving wide open in reverse.about killed him.
