I picked up an old 1737 uniloader to do light farm work. I noticed the hydraulics were getting weak. I went to the local dealer they gave me the fluid and told me it goes in the fill on the right side of the tractor. It looks just like a fuel fill. So I put it in there. It seems like everytime I add hydraulic fluid the engine will only run on choke and smokes like crazy. AM I doing something wrong?

Mike... did ya ever figure out where to put the hydrologic fluid on your old 1737? I have a similar machine (1740) which has sat for years... know nothing about them. Sure would like to know a) where to put the hydrolic fluid and b) where to find a place to put the engine oil. If you DID figure it out... perhaps you can help me. Thanks

There is a fule tank on each side and a fule fill on each side. So you put it in the with the fule. Look around there should be a pipe plug some where to fill hyd. fulid. there is a pipe plug on the side to check the oil level. Hope this helps.
