I have trying to use a dirtscoop on the back of my 880. Because the toplink mounts on the rockshaft, it bumps the top of the pto housing when I lower the dirt scoop. Could I unbolt the thin plate on the top of the pto housing and make a new toplink mount? Is it strong enough? Whay in the world did they make this thing with a 30" toplink?

PTO housing is not strong enough like on the Selectamatic tractors. You have to raise the "A" frame on the scoop. Just add some flat bar to raise the top link bracket. That is the way the DB implements were built.
