I have a 1936 cc case that I did some engine work on & now it is very hard to crank. I was wondering does anyone know how to put a starter on it? I didn't know if I could get parts off a later model or not. would appreciate some info thanks.

I put one on my 37 CC pulling tractor. Took the out half of the belt pulley off and took a flexplate from a 302 ford engine. trued it up andbolted it to the pulley. Mad a bracket and battery holder.Put a ford starter on. Has worked good for the last 3 years.

Sounds like a great idea. I'm getting too old to crank and I love those CCs. Please post directions and pictures. Thanks.

to Old Rusty that starter idea of yours sounds like a great idea. I was wondering if you could take a picture of it to give me an idea how you mounted it. a drawing or anything. just email it to me or i will pay for a stamp if you mail it . thanks Arnold
