Hello! I am not posting anything for sale here, I"d just like to get your opinions. I have acquired some tractors and parts tractors, and after taking what I need, I"m going to have parts left over. So I"d like to find out what you think is the best way to sell them:

1. Classified ads here on YTMag; 2. E-bay; or 3. Other (please specify)?

My second question is how far to break it down to sell the part? Would it be the "major" sections like a front end, transmission, engine block, etc., or the small pieces like carbs, distributor caps, radiator caps, etc.?

I"m usually on the buying end, so "parting" with a tractor will be a big step!

Thanks for your responses!

ebay is great for small mailable items. If you part out be prepared that you will have a picked over carcus left over, that is nothing but scrap iron. i like to sell most componants whole if the engine is dead parting might be the thing if its running it might sell whole.
