Building a show tractor/puller C, and plan to use a 5505 head. Slighly bigger than stock on cubes, but not anywhere close to radical (Still have to crank this sucker!). How much head/valve work is too much/little. Was going to get the die grinder out and do a little to open it up, but we've had heads on other tractors where I think we opened them up too much without the cubes to keep air velocity/mixing good enough.

Other question - how much improvement do you see with the gas manifold versus the distilate. Worth opening them up much or not?

Thanks!
